Denny Sarokin wrote "Sanibel" in 1981. His song caught the attention of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, but it took 18 years before it was finally recorded by the group in 1999 as part of their reunion album, Looking Forward.

Flash forward 15 more years. Sanibel filmmaker David E. Carter contacted Denny and said, "I want to make a music video with your song." Within a few weeks, the video was a reality.

And, finally, more than 30 years after Denny wrote the stirringly beautiful ballad, "Sanibel," he made his first trip to Sanibel Island. Welcome to Paradise, Denny.
